I chartered Morpheus with three friends for a week in May 2024. The handover and briefing in Oban were straightforward allowing us an early start up the sound of Mull. Our targets were the Small Isles and Loch Scavaig. We made it to Eigg and Canna in light winds and sunshine, both fabulous islands. Loch Scavaig was tantalisingly close but a bad forecast sent us back to the mainland for shelter. After a storm bound day in Tobermory, we set off for lively downwind return legs.
Morpheus was in great condition, very well equipped, and she sailed well. Harald was very helpful and responsive to any questions.
As always with sailing on the West Coast of Scotland, it left us wanting more. We will be back next year!
Frolika was a well-equipped and well-maintained boat that took us safely everywhere. Caledonia Sailing was very reliable and above all flexible when it came to the handover and handback of the boat and was always available to answer any questions. We had a great time and are already looking forward to our next sailing adventure in Scotland.
