For detailed information on Oban please refer to www.oban.org.uk. Depending upon your start destination, hiring a car from the main airports of Glasgow, Edi and Inverness is straightforward. Main line rail services operate from Glasgow to Oban (one branch of the highly scenic West Highland line) and the train station is a 5-10 minute walk from the North Pier Pontoons.

There are various options available including :- (i) Paid parking next to the North Pier Pontoons, fine for short stays, for longer term secure parking try Stoddarts of Oban.

(ii) Free on street parking around Oban albeit can be tricky to find! (iii) Visit www.argyll-bute.gov.uk and search car parks in Oban for detailed information on paid parking options.

Oban has a variety of supermarkets to cover all budgets and taste. Including Tesco (who offer a click and collect service), Marks and Spencer, Aldi and Lidl, all within a 10-15 minute walk of the North Pier Pontoons.
